The rules for using HouseEdge — as a candidate looking for work, and as an employer hiring. The section on what employers may do with applicant data is the one worth reading twice.

HouseEdge is operated by this company, which is responsible for the personal data described on these pages. JunketClub is run by the same company as a separate service, with its own accounts and its own database — the two do not share user data.

01What this is

HouseEdge is a job board for the casino industry. Employers publish listings; candidates keep a profile and apply to them. We are not an employment agency, we are not party to anything you agree with an employer, and we do not vet the truth of a listing or of an application.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to.

02Accounts

You need to be at least 16 to hold an account, and old enough to work where the job is.

Keep your details accurate and your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.

One employer account holds one company. Accounts are not to be shared or transferred.

03What candidates post

Your profile and your CV stay yours. By applying to a listing you allow us to show that application, including your CV and contact details, to the employer who posted it, for the purpose of considering you for that role.

That permission does not extend further. It does not let an employer keep your CV for unrelated roles, pass it on, or add you to a mailing list.

Post only what is yours to post, and only what is true. Do not include other people's personal details in your CV or cover letter without their agreement.

04What employers post

A listing has to be a real, currently open role at the company that posted it.

Not allowed, and grounds for removal without notice:

  • discriminating on age, sex, race, religion, disability, or anything else the applicable law protects
  • asking candidates for money, at any point and for any reason — placement fees, training, equipment, deposits
  • listings that exist to collect CVs, build a database, or advertise something other than the job
  • requesting identity documents, bank details or payment information through this service
  • using an applicant's details for anything other than considering them for the role they applied to

Applicant data reaches you because someone applied to your listing. Treat it accordingly: use it for that role, keep it no longer than you need it, and do not pass it to anyone else.

05Plans, quotas and promotion

What your plan includes is what the service enforces: how many listings can be live at once, how long they stay up, and which promotional placements are available to you.

Ticking a promotion box on a listing is a request, not a purchase of a specific outcome. Promoted placements are limited, and whether a request is granted is decided when you save or publish. If it is refused, the reason and the numbers behind it are shown to you at that moment — a refused promotion never silently becomes a granted one, and a granted one is never quietly taken away without being reported.

A request you make stays on record. If your plan later covers it and a slot is free, it applies without you having to ask again.

Choosing not to show a salary is allowed, and it has a consequence we would rather state than bury: a listing with no stated salary is left out of searches that filter or sort by salary. The composer says so where you make the choice.

06Payment

Paid plans are not yet connected to a payment provider. Prices shown on the pricing page describe what plans will cost; nothing on this site currently charges you, and no card details are collected anywhere.

Before that changes, this page and the pricing page will set out billing, renewal and refund terms, and no existing account will be charged without agreeing to them first.

07Availability

We try to keep the service up and the data safe, and we take nightly backups. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or withdraw features.

The service is provided as it is. We are not responsible for hiring decisions, for what an employer or candidate says or does, or for losses that follow from either.

08Suspension and closing an account

We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, particularly the rules above about listings and applicant data.

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. What happens to your data then is set out on the retention page.

09Changes and contact

If these terms change we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
